Site Description:
Our Parker's are found back to about 1500 in Southampton, Hampshire, England. The
Parker's
came to Accomack Co., Va. in 1649, settled and purchased land in both Accomack and
Northampton Co's., VA. Then migrated alittle northwest to Somerset Co., MD.

In the mid-1700's, Somerset Co. split, forming several other counties, Worcester Co. and
Snow
Hill being it's County Seat, Princess Anne being Somerset's seat, and Sussex Co., Del.
Mostly
they remained in the Snow Hill area for awhile, then started scattering to GA. ALA., TX.
and
beyond.
